My name is Wouter Carabain. Carabain Digital is my company, registered in the Netherlands, and I build every site myself. You're not going through a sales rep or an account manager. You email me, you get me.
I'm not going to pretend to be an American agency. What I do is build fast, focused websites for local service companies and put in the work before asking anyone to buy anything. That's why you see the finished site first.

Frequently asked questions
What does it cost, and is there a contract?
$199 a month, no setup fee. You pay nothing until you've seen the website and approved it. From the day it goes live the subscription runs for a minimum of 12 months, and after that it continues month to month with 30 days' notice. We'd rather you know that before you say yes than after.
What if I don't like the website?
Then you say so and that's the end of it. Nothing goes live, nothing is owed, and you're not on a contract. We build it first precisely so you can make that call with the actual site in front of you.
Do I have to get on a sales call?
No sales call required. If you prefer email, the whole thing can run by email, which is how most of it goes. If you'd rather talk something through, that's fine too. We're just not going to make a call the price of admission.
Will this get me more calls?
A website can't create demand that isn't there. What it can do is stop losing the people who already found you. A site that loads quickly, reads clearly on a phone and puts your number and estimate button in front of every visitor converts more of the same traffic. That's the part we can actually build, and it's what we build for.
Do you do SEO?
We build the foundation: clean page structure, real titles and headings, metadata, local business markup and pages that load fast on mobile. That's what search engines need in order to read your site properly, and it's included. An ongoing SEO campaign — keyword research, content production, link building, monthly reporting — is a different service and is not part of the $199. Nobody can promise you rankings, and we won't.
Is hosting included?
Yes, hosting is in the monthly price. You don't arrange or pay a separate hosting company.
Is maintenance included?
Yes. Technical maintenance and security updates are included, plus text and photo edits up to about an hour a month. Bigger work — a whole new page or new functionality — is quoted first and only starts once you've approved it.
Do I have to handle anything technical?
No. We handle the domain, DNS and go-live. You keep ownership of your domain name. What we need from you is information about your business, not technical work.
Can you replace my current website?
Yes, and that's the usual case. Your existing text and photos can normally come along. If you have real project photos and reviews, those do more for you than anything we could design.
